Paul Feig’s All Female ‘Ghostbusters’ Cast Chosen

Paul Feig’s all female cast for his Ghostbusters reboot has been finally picked; is your favorite leading lady in the line up?

After months of speculation, director meetings and high hopes, the final casting for Paul Feig‘s all female GHOSTBUSTER cast has finally been confirmed!

It seems as if BRIDESMAIDS cast members, Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wigg will both be reuniting with Feig as they join him in this new ghostbusting journey. 

Joining them are SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE cast members Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones who have both impressive audiences with their quick wit and comedic timing on the famous NBC show. 

The Hollywood Reporter claims that, while no deals are officially finalized, this is most likely to be the line up audiences can expect from Feig’s reboot. 

As you can imagine, there has been some backlash against the line up decision, some using the excuse of their dislike for the actresses to dismiss the idea of an all female cast all together, while BRIDESMAIDS fans are thrilled to see McCarthy and Wigg back on the big screen together. 

There are no details as to how these actresses will take on the famous characters, but there is hope that the surviving original cast members will make an appearance. 

GHOSTBUSTERS will likely aim for a 2016 release.
