By now, we have all heard about the Oscar nominees, the movies that we can’t stop talking about and predictions over who will win what, however, for some people, there are top films being talked about that they haven’t yet seen. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have selected the top eight films from 2015 that will compete for Best Picture at this year’s Oscars and they are all different and all superb in their own ways.
Thrown into the mix, you have a film where Leonardo DiCaprio is mauled by a bear, Tom Hardy is running around an apocalyptic outback being ‘mad’, Saoirse Ronan is torn between New York and Dublin and Matt Damon is stranded in space on planet Mars and us earthlings here are in awe of all of the great movies that have hit the big screen.
Whatever your taste in movie, there is something for everybody, but if you haven’t had a chance to watch some of them or would like a refresher of the films, then take a look at the trailers for the movies up for Best Picture at the 88th annual Academy Awards on February 28th hosted by Chris Rock.
