Exciting news for X-Men fans, Hollywood hunk Oscar Issac joins the cast as the films title role, Apocalypse!
The INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS star will be joining James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence in new X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, as the films title role villain, Apocalypse.Â
With big names like Tom Hardy and Idris Elba being linked to the part previously, Issac is a fairly surprising choice, but no doubt a welcome one! However, it is thought that he has always been a first choice, but director Bryan Singer just wanted a few backups.Â
The character was first created by Louise Simonson and artist Jackson Guice and also goes by the name En Sabah Nur– translated to “the first one”.Â
The buzz behind this movie gets bigger everyday and we’re definitely getting excited for it! With more A-listers like Channing Tatum and Nicholas Hoult involved, it’s going to be big.
