Orlando Bloom: “Thank God I’ve got one kid out. It may be the first and last!”

Orlando Bloom is rather concerned about the toll the physical stunts may have on his body!

To celebrate the release of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Extended Edition on Digital HD (also available on Blu-ray 3D and DVD), which is available to buy TODAY, another three new clips from the release’s extensive behind-the-scenes Special Features have been unveiled. Warner Bros and Peter Jackson certainly know how to spoil us fans!

We have previously been treated to new deleted scenes and excerpts of exclusive behind the scenes action from the Special Features, including a look at the intricate work behind Benedict Cumberbatch bringing Smaug to life, a touching scene with Richard Armitage‘s Thorin and his father and many more fantastic clips that we always look forward to watching when a new film from The Hobbit franchise is released.

Today’s releases include an interesting look at how woodland elf, Evangeline Lilly prepares for her fight scenes, which are very impressive may we add!

We get a first proper look at Stephen Fry’s character as he talks all things ‘The Master’ with enigmatic director, Peter Jackson and Orlando Bloom wishes he could turn back time – and his age, when filming the very physical barrel riding scenes.

This is definitely our favourite clip as the British actor, rather concerned about his delicate area says, “Thank God I’ve got one kid out. It may be the first and last!”
