Well, Disney’s D23 conference has thrown out lots of interesting information – Colin Trevorrow will direct STAR WARS 9 and Orlando Bloom will be reprising his role of Will Turner in the next PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN.
So Orlando Bloom will be back for another swashbuckling adventure in the upcoming installment PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES.
The news was confirmed during Disney’s D23 conference, that Bloom will return to the series. He has previously starred in the first three instalments of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN franchise alongside Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley, but was not on board the project in 2011’s ON STRANGER TIDES.
In the upcoming movie DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES, Depp will return once more as pirate Captain Jack Sparrow, while SKINS star Kaya Scodelario takes the female lead.
Geoffrey Rush and Stephen Graham will also appear, as well as Javier Bardem and Brenton Thwaites.
PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALESÂ opens on July 7, 2017 in the US and the UK.
