ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD is one of the most anticipated films of the year starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. Ahead of the world premiere at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, director Quentin Tarantino has reached out to the audiences asking them to refrain from revealing any spoilers.

The world of social media is not always looked upon favourably, however it does have its uses. Anthony and Joe Russo, the directors of AVENGERS: ENDGAME also took to Twitter ahead of the release of the blockbuster movie asking fans and journalists to not release any spoilers and now Quentin Tarantino has followed suit.

The director took to Twitter to post a personal letter to the Cannes audience who will see the film, asking them not to reveal any spoilers, as it will be another three months until the film is released globally following on from its premiere at the film festival. In his plea, he penned:

“I love Cinema. You love Cinema. It’s the journey of discovering a story for the first time.’

“I’m thrilled to be here in Cannes to share ‘Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood’ with the festival audience. The cast and crew have worked so hard to create something original, and I only ask that everyone avoids revealing anything that would prevent later audiences from experiencing the film in the same way.”

Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognise anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.
