Walt Disney Animation Studios has debuted the new trailer for their animated feature ZOOTOPIA, which takes place in a world in which animals have evolved into human behaviour. Check out the Zootopia trailer below!
Based on the trailer alone, I think I am heading to the cinema when ZOOTOPIA is released. Given that this is the first I have ever heard of this film and to be honest I don’t really go to the cinema to see many animated films (I usually just wait for them to be broadcast), I think the fact that the trailer has won me over is impressive.
This is dubbed the ‘Sloth’ trailer for Disney’s upcoming film ZOOTOPIA and it is a pure gem. The trailer is wonderfully funny the first time, but don’t just watch it once, not that you weren’t going to watch it again. Every bit of animation in this scene is such a delight to watch and there are so many nuances that give it an immense repeat value. Once you have watched it once, watch it again but this time concentrate solely on Jason Bateman’s fox character (Nick Wilde).
It also sets up the dynamic between Nick and bunny cop Judy Hops and I can definitely relate to a smug fox trolling a seemingly neurotic bunny…I think?
ZOOTOPIA is set to hit cinemas on the 25th of March next year.
