CHILD 44 is a film which many have been looking forward to and now we get to see the first UK poster for the movie and one-sheet starring Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman and Noomi Rapace.
A tale of Soviet intrigue and a politically-charged serial killer thriller set in 1953 Soviet Russia. CHILD 44 chronicles the crisis of conscience for secret police agent Leo Demidov (Hardy), who loses status, power and home when he refuses to denounce his own wife, Raisa (Rapace), as a traitor. As a result, he is exiled from Moscow to a grim provincial outpost, where Leo and Raisa join forces with General Mikhail Nesterov (Oldman) to track down a serial killer who is targeting children. Their quest for justice and to put an end to such horrors, upsets psychopathic rival Vasili (Kinnaman)…
Produced by Ridley Scott and featuring an adapted screenplay by Richard Price, SAFE HOUSE director Daniel Espinosa is bringing this thriller to the big screen. Joel Kinnaman, Charles Dance, Vincent Cassel, Tara Fitzgerald, Paddy Considine and Fares Fares complete the impressive casting ensemble.
CHILD 44 is released in UK cinemas April 17th.
