He’s cute, adorable, loves marmalade – and coming to a screen near you soon.
It seems like we have been waiting ages to watch this film and finally, the trailer for the world’s cutest bear, PADDINGTON has been released.
PADDINGTON is set to be THE big family film hitting our screens in November and over the last month, StudioCanal has spoilt and teased us with glimpses of the marmalade-loving bear with its adorable poster and the featurette where producer David Heyman takes the time to talk about the iconic bear along with the other cast members who star in the film.Â
Paddington has grown up deep in the Peruvian jungle with his Aunt Lucy who, inspired by a chance encounter with an English explorer, has raised her nephew to dream of an exciting life in London. When an earthquake destroys their home, Aunt Lucy decides to smuggle her young nephew on board a boat bound for England, in search of a better life.

Arriving alone at Paddington Station, Paddington soon finds that city life is not all he had imagined – until he meets the kindly Brown family, led by Hugh Bonneville and Sally Hawkins who find him with a label tied around his neck which reads ‘Please look after this bear. Thank you.’ They offer him a temporary home whilst he searches for the explorer who impressed Aunt Lucy all those years before. Whilst he is there, the good-nature bear sees his inquisitive inclinations lead him into trouble more than once.

But when Paddington catches the eye of a sinister, seductive taxidermist, Millicent (Nicole Kidman), who feels Paddington would look best stuffed and on her wall, it isn’t long before his home – and very existence – is under threat …
The trailer reveals how our furry friend is first introduced to the Brown family at the titular train station and all the hilarious antics that ensue afterward. We already love the onscreen moments between Paddington and Hugh Bonneville!
