Production has started in Boston on Apple’s TV series DEFENDING JACOB, starring Chris Evans (Avengers: Endgame), Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), Jaeden Martell (IT) and now their impressive cast has seen some new arrivals.

Joining Evans and Dockery in the TV series is Cherry Jones (The Handmaid’s Tale), Pablo Schreiber (Den of Thieves), Sakina Jaffrey (Timeless) and Betty Gabriel (Get Out).

DEFENDING JACOB has been penned by Mark Bomback (Planet of the Apes) based on Landay’s 2012 novel published by Random House. The book tells the story of a father dealing with the accusation that his son is a 14-year-old murderer.

The limited TV series which will be produced by Paramount Television and Anonymous Content. Aside from the super cast and synopsis for the show, big things are expected for Apple’s new show as The Imitation Game’s director Morten Tyldum is in the director’s chair for this one who will also be on producing duties alongside Chris Evans.

We think the new additions to the casting are going to be great and look forward to what Apple will bring to the TV series table with this new series.
