THE FAULT IN OUR STARS won big on Sunday evening at the MTV Movie Awards scooping the Movie of the Year accolade.
The star of the film, Shailene Woodley will certainly need a big bag to take home all of her trophies – she won four Golden Popcorn awards including Best Female Performance.
Amongst her other recognitions was the Trailblazer Award for her brilliant young career, for her appearances in THE FAULT IN OUR STARS and the DIVERGENT franchise.
She received the award from her friend and INSURGENT co-star Miles Teller, who delivered his own emotional tribute to the actress.
Bradley Cooper was also a successful winner at the ceremony winning the Best Male Performance for his superb portrayal of Chris Kyle in AMERICAN SNIPER. During his acceptance speech he dedicated the award to the fallen Navy SEAL.
It was also a good night for Zac Efron, who snapped up two awards, one of which was for Best Shirtless Performance in the movie BAD NEIGHBOURS.
Of course many more awards were given out at the star-studded event: Jennifer Lopez won Best Scared-As-S**t Performance, and Dylan O’Brien received the Breakthrough Performance award.
Robert Downey Jr. was also a big winner at the ceremony, after being awarded with special honours, receiving the Generation Award, which was presented to him by his AVENGERS cast mates Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, and Mark Ruffalo.
