According to reports, Craig has already filmed his mystery role, which involved him heading to Pinewood Studios in secret for two days last week.
The secret cameo role will supposedly see the 46-year-old playing a part where he will be unrecognisable to the audience as his face will not be visible. Â
It remains to be seen as to which covered-up character Daniel is playing, but it will certainly set fans of the films guessing and speculating.
Craig is familiar with working undercover in the Bond franchise, but is not too good at it in real life, after being seen hanging out in the dressing room of Carrie Fisher, a friend of his, who is reprising her role as Princess Leia, which set tongues wagging further about being cast in the film.
