Paramount Pictures and Skydance have just dropped the Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One teaser trailer and as expected its jam-packed with action and it certainly doesn’t disappoint.

In the first trailer for this movie, we see Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt a special agent of the Impossible Missions Force (IMF). He is back with his usual death-defying stunts (the final scene of the trailer where he descends off a mountain whilst riding his motorbike is extremely impressive) and of course there’s also his usual running at a pace scenes in his typical infamous style thrown into the mix!
The release of the trailer is very well timed as we look forward to the release of Top Gun: Maverick in cinemas this week. You can take a look at our review of the movie here.
In the first teaser trailer we see all of the incredible locations they shot the movie in an we get to see some familiar faces and new ones too. It showcases a first look at the returning Kittridge, played by Henry Czerny, who we haven’t seen since the original movie. Also returning in this installment is Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson and Vanessa Kirby.
The newcomers are Hayley Atwell as Grace and Esai Morales as the movie’s main villain.
The trailer does a great job in not giving too much away as it doesn’t reveal much about the plot of the film. One thing that is for certain is that the audience will be treated to some great action sequences from sniper battles, fight scenes in a club, exciting car chases and of course the final snippet of the trailer where Cruise and his motorbike free-fall off a cliff.
MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE DEAD RECKONING has been penned and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who was also in the director’s chair for ROGUE NATION and FALLOUT.

DEAD RECKONING: PART ONE will be followed by DEAD RECKONING: PART TWO in 2024 and rumour has it that may be the last time we see Cruise as Ethan Hunt. Of course Cruise is on double duty for this one as he has also produced the film alongside McQuarrie, J.J. Abrams, David Ellison and Jake Meyers.
