Assassin's Creed

Ubisoft has released a new ASSASSIN’S CREED movie photo featuring Michael Fassbender’s modern-day character Callum Lynch, who relives the genetic memories of a 15th century Spanish Assassin named Aguilar, hunched in a cell.

Fassbender has taken on the lead role in ASSASSIN’S CREED and is joined by Marion Cotillard (THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, INCEPTION), who starred with each other in the 2015 film, MACBETH. The duo are joined by Michael K. Williams (Paul Feig’s upcoming GHOSTBUSTERS), Jeremy Irons (“The Borgias”) and Brendan Gleeson (EDGE OF TOMORROW). 

Fassbender is once again working with MACBETH’s director, Justin Kurzel who is also calling the shots on ASSASSIN’S CREED too.

The Assassin’s Creed movie follows a character by the name of Callum Lynch who, through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, is able to experience the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.

ASSASSIN’S CREED is scheduled for release, December 21st, 2016.
