Heroes Reborn

The time traveller returns….

Deadline reports that Masi Oka is set to return as Hiro Nakamura in HEROES REBORN, making him the second original cast member (alongside Jack Coleman who will reprise the role of Noah Bennet) to return to the series.

Created by Tim Kring, HEROES originally aired for four seasons from 2006 to 2010, and starred: Milo Ventimiglia, Adrian Pasdar, Hayden Panettiere, Ali Larter, and Zachary Quinto.

HEROES REBORN is set to return to the basic premise of the commercially and critically successful first season, which was: ‘to tell the stories of ordinary people who discover they have superhuman abilities which effect their everyday lives.’

New additions to the story of Heroes include: Zachary Levi, Danika Yarosh, Judith Shakoni, Robbie Kay, Ryan Guzma, Gatlin Green, and Henry Zebrowski.

Of Masi Oka’s return to the series creator Tim Kring said: ‘The character of Hiro Nakamura was such a huge part of the first series’ success, and a gigantic fan favourite. We felt the fans would really love to see him back in action.’

HEROES REBORN will run for thirteen episodes and is set to debut on NBC later this year.
