Channing Tatum, his slick dance moves and his rock hard abs are back in action and on display for MAGIC MIKE XXL in the cheeky character banner as seen above.Â
Fans of the first film will be delighted to see that Mike and his reclaimed furniture business plans have gone wayward and he is back on the stage stripping once more alongside his friends.
The story picks up three years after Mike bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, ‘Magic Mike XXL’ finds the remaining Kings of Tampa likewise ready to throw in the towel. But they want to do it their way: burning down the house in one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach, and with legendary headliner Magic Mike sharing the spotlight with them. On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, Mike and the guys learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways.
Tatum is also joined on the big screen by Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash, Adam Rodriguez, Gabriel Iglesias, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Glover, Amber Heard, Andie MacDowell, Jada Pinkett Smith and Michael Strahan.
Steven Soderbergh, who directed the first film, returns as the film’s cinematographer and editor with longtime collaborator Gregory Jacobs, who has been handed the director’s reins for the sequel.
MAGIC MIKE XXL will take centre stage on the big screen July 3rd.
