STUDIOCANAL has released the first UK trailer for the hilarious action comedy LOGAN LUCKY, the new film from Academy Award-winning director, Steven Soderbergh. Take a look at the footage in the video player above.
Packed with brand new footage, the new trailer showcases the film’s stellar ensemble cast at its very best, including Channing Tatum, Adam Driver and Riley Keough playing the luckless Logans. Joining the fold is the excellent Daniel Craig as Joe Bang, along with Seth Macfarlane, Sebastian Stan, Hilary Swank and Katherine Waterston.
Once you have feasted your eyes on the trailer, you will be forgiven for thinking you did not see Daniel Craig in it because he looks so unrecognisable and it has got us shaken and definitely not stirred! Thee’s no James Bond-esque look going on in this movie!
Jimmy Logan (Channing Tatum) is from a blue-collar family from the hills of West Virginia, whose clan has been famous for its bad luck for nearly 90 years. After being fired from his job, and with his ex-wife (Katie Holmes) threatening to move out of State taking their daughter with her, Jimmy decides he has to do something to get his family’s life back on track. With a little help from his brother Clyde Logan (Adam Driver), his sister Mellie (Riley Keough) and an incarcerated explosive expert, the aptly named Joe Bang (Daniel Craig), he plans to steal $14 million from the Charlotte Motor Speedway on the busiest race day of the year.
Directed by Academy Award-winner Steven Soderbergh (Ocean’s Eleven, Magic Mike, Traffic), Logan Lucky also stars Hilary Swank, Seth MacFarlane, Katherine Waterston, Sebastian Stan, and Brian Gleeson.
LOGAN LUCKY opens nationwide across the UK on 25th August 2017.
