Tiffany Haddish is the friend and co-star we all wish we had. She’s hardworking, she’s hilarious and she knows how to turn the party. She and Rose Byrne play two best friends who go into the cosmetics industry together, only to get conned out of their business by makeup magnate, Salma Hayek. She is one woman who is not afraid to shoot her shot, even with the world’s biggest movie stars. When she found herself in an elevator with Brad Pitt at a pre-Oscars party, Tiffany thought out loud that there’d be ‘some pretty ass babies’ if they got stuck in there. Brad’s response is classic, watch Tiffany tell the story here to Jimmy Fallon. When it comes to Brad’s Once Upon A Time in Hollywood co-star Leonardo Di Caprio, Tiffany told Jimmy Kimmel that Leonardo was on her ‘get pregnant by him’ list. They say to never meet your heroes. Try telling Tiffany Haddish that after she got to meet her idol, Oprah, on Ellen’s show. Tiffany was pitching Ellen on how great it would be to go into business with Oprah when the iconic TV host turned up and had a special moment with her number one fan. Maya Rudolph is always awards show gold, and when she was partnered with Tiffany, it was just perfection. The pair joked like they’ve been working together for decades – could it be the start of a beautiful friendship/buddy cop comedy? Tiffany even takes time out to tell Meryl Streep that she wants her to be her mama one day, because Tiffany says out loud what we’re all thinking. Watch their segment here:

Tiffany in every one of her scenes in Girls Trip

Although the whole cast was incredible in the hit comedy Girls Trip, Tiffany was the breakout star. She played Dina, the wild one of her group who was always getting her friends (Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah and Regina Hall) into trouble, but it was definitely the grapefruit scene that turned Tiffany into an icon. Tiffany got to live out one of her comedy dreams by hosting the legendary US sketch show, Saturday Night Live. Every episode, the host gets to do an opening monologue, and Tiffany used that moment to call out sexual harassment, wearing repeat outfits and getting married.

Netflix’s Tuca and Bertie may not be at the top of your watchlist, but if you’re a Tiffany Haddish fan, it’s a must-watch. Tiffany voices Tuca, a toucan whose personality is pretty close to her own; she’s outlandish, sexy, always having wild ideas, fiercely loyal and is always looking out for her best friend, Bertie.
