Film And TV Now were delighted to speak with writer-director Amy Brandis via Zoom about the short film, which was made during the pandemic and is a reflection of the current life and times we find ourselves in.

Amy is an emerging writer trained at Warwick and the National Film and Television School.

She writes across both television and film. Amy was commissioned in 2020 by Shot of Tea Productions to write the television pilot for their new dystopian drama ‘MARKED‘. Her pilot ‘OUR MOTHER’S GIRLS‘ reached the final 19% of submissions for BBC Studios’ Writers Academy 2020.

Her directorial debut ‘SCREW THE POOCH’ is touring the 2021 international festival circuit and has been nominated for world renowned festivals, including LIFF.
