Film And TV Now was delighted to spend some time at the Courthouse Hotel in London’s ever-glamourous West End on Saturday 9th February 2024 where a brand new short film got an exclusive presentation in the hotel’s excellent screening room.
New short film Beautiful Things enjoyed a private screening in London
last weekend with cast and celebrities in attendance.
Beautiful Things is a story of nostalgia and obsession, a near-future
LGBTQ+ romance that takes a dark turn. The film tells the story of two ageing beauty queens as they use Nostalg.AI, a device that helps them revisit their past. If you are into intelligent futuristic sci-fi like BLADE RUNNER, MINORITY REPORT and TOTAL RECALL, then this will be right up your street
Beautiful Things is a short film directed by Maya Zupano, written by
Jessica Riches and produced by Rachel Warren & Jamie-Louise Davis. Other celebrities in attendance included actresses Ayvianna Snow and TV legend Paula Wilcox (pictured below) of the classic 1970s TV sitcom MAN ABOUT THE HOUSE, which can be viewed on your local satellite channel where available.
