On Monday evening, the red carpet was rolled out with the most beautiful balloons suspended in the air at Leicester Square in London for another London Film Festival red carpet and this time it was for THE AERONAUTS UK premiere. The rain was pouring down, but that did not dampen the spirits of the cast and creators of the movie in attendance.

At the UK premiere, the film’s director Tom Harper hit the red carpet along with cast members Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones and Thomas Arnold.

Under the umbrellas and soggy skies, they all took their time to speak to the waiting media about the movie and also posed for photos with fans who braved the weather to see them all.

You can take a look at what they had to say to Film and TV Now in their red carpet interviews below.

This is a journey to the very edge of existence, where the air is thin and the chances of survival are slim. As their perilous ascent reveals their true selves, this unlikely pair discover things about each other – and themselves – that helps each of them find their place in the world they have left behind.
