On Saturday evening, Leicester Square in London was ready for another premiere at this year’s London Film Festival – Jojo Rabbit. The red carpet was rolled out for this year’s Headline Gala which stars Taika Waititi, Scarlett Johansson and Roman Griffin Davis.

Unfortunately, Scarlett Johansson was not in attendance for the event, but the writer and director of the film Taika Waititi was there and enjoying every moment. He even left the media line early to climb into the fan area to make sure everyone got their photos and autographs!

He was joined on the red carpet by Roman Griffin Davis who plays Jojo, Thomasin McKenzie, Archie Yates, Alfie Allen and Sam Haygarth.

You can take a look at their red carpet interviews in the media players below:

Writer director Taika Waititi (THOR: RAGNAROK, HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE), brings his signature style of humor and pathos to his latest film, JOJO RABBIT, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy (Roman Griffin Davis as JoJo) whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.

Taika Waititi is on double duty for this one, as he has penned the script for the movie and is also in the director’s chair for this one. He has brought to life a story written by Christine Leunens.

The movie boasts a super cast with Alfie Allen, Rebel Wilson, Roman Griffin Davis, Sam Rockwell, Scarlett Johansson, Stephen Merchant, Taika Waititi, Thomasin McKenzie all starring in the film.
