With the BFI 62nd London Film Festival underway, Entertainment One UK has dropped a brand new clip from the movie, GREEN BOOK starring Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen. Take a look at the brand new footage in the video player below.
GREEN BOOK has been directed by Peter Farrelly.The casting for this one is great, with Academy Award® nominee Viggo Mortensenas Tony Lip and Academy Award® winner Mahershala Alias pianist, Don Shirley. They are being joined on the big screen by Linda Cardellini.Â
Set in America in 1962, Green Book tells the heart-warming true story of Tony Lip (Viggo Mortensen), a working-class Italian-American bouncer who takes on a job as a chauffeur for Dr. Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali), a highly-educated African-American classical pianist. The mismatched pair embark on a two-month tour of concert venues in the racially charged deep south and discover they’re on the road to a meaningful and unique friendship.
It has been a little while since we have seen Viggo Mortensen on the big screen since his performance as Ben in CAPTAIN FANTASTIC in 2016 and we definitely welcome the return. We can’t wait to see him alongside the super talented, Mahershala Ali.
