Last Christmas: New International Trailer Arrives Starring Emilia Clarke & Henry Golding

It’s now approaching the end of summer and we are already looking forward to Christmas thanks to Universal Pictures. They have released the new international trailer for their upcoming festive flick, LAST CHRISTMAS starring Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding. Check out the footage in the video player below:

At over three-minutes in length we have got the gist of the movie: festive, comical and romantic – all the feels we need during the festive season!

Clarke plays the role of Kate who lives in London and is rather unhappy in her life working as an elf in an all-year-round Christmas store. Things start to change for her and her bell-clad elf shoes when she bumps into Tom (Golding) outside the store. He plays a big role in helping Kate to live life in a different, more positive way and all during that magical time of the year…

The film looks set to be a love letter to London during Christmas, as we see the Alexandra Palace ice rink and Covent Garden market all lit up beautifully, as well as tunes from Michael including ‘Faith’ and the title tune.

Joining Henry Golding and Emilia Clarke in LAST CHRISTMAS is Emma Thompson and Michelle Yeoh, who is reuniting with her CRAZY RICH ASIANS co-star, Golding.

The script for the movie has been penned by Thompson and playwright Bryony Kimmings, which in case you couldn’t tell by the title, has been inspired by the George Michael song. Thompson produces alongside David Livingstone (Judy). In the director’s chair for this one is Paul Feig.
