Sorry to disappoint you GAME OF THRONES fans, but Kit Harington seems to be filling up his schedule, which is silencing those who think he will return in the HBO series in season six…
According to Variety, Harington has joined the cast of BRIMSTONE featuring alongside Carice van Houten. Also on board the project is Dakota Fanning (replacing Mia Wasikowska) and Guy Pearce in the period thriller, which follows a young 19th century woman named Liz (Fanning) on the run from a diabolical preacher (Pearce), with Harington playing the outlaw role of Samuel originally earmarked for Robert Pattinson. Paul Anderson (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows), Jack Roth (The Great Train Robbery) and Carla Juri (Wetlands) have also joined the cast.
Dutch helmer Martin Koolhoven (WINTER IN WARTIME) is the man calling the shots who is on double duty after penning the script.
BRIMSTONE has just begun principal photography and the stars of the film will be packing their case and heading around Europe with production due to be carried out in Romania, Spain and Germany.Â
If you are missing seeing Harington on the screen, then fear not as you will be able to watch him soon in the short HBO film 7 DAYS IN HELL, which premieres on July 11th.Â
