Kate Winslet and Idris Elba walked the red carpet at the world premiere of THE MOUNTAIN BETWEEN US at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF 2017). Check out the images in the slideshow below!
The film is being brought to the big screen by Hany Abu-Assad who is in the director’s chair for this one and it has been garnering super reviews during the festival season so far.
The film stars a fantastic dynamic duo in the form of Kate Winslet and Idris Elba. Those names alone should be enough to draw lots of interest in this movie already, right? We certainly can’t wait to see more of them together onscreen.
Here is the official synopsis for the film: Stranded after a tragic plane crash, two strangers must forge a connection to survive the extreme elements of a remote snow covered mountain. When they realise help is not coming, they embark on a terrifying journey across hundreds of miles of wilderness, pushing one another to endure and igniting an unexpected attraction.
After its world premiere in Toronto, we don’t have too long to wait now until the movie hits the shores over here as it’s scheduled for release on October 6th.
