The joke’s on Dee, and the golden god hasn’t even begun to peak. In what could be an episode of IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, A.P. BIO starring Glenn Howerton has been renewed while THE MICK with Kaitlin Olson has been cancelled. Poor bird.

Since the comedy’s cancellation, Olson seems to be making light of the unfortunate news, posting The Mick memorabilia on her Instagram and claiming to have “a yard sale to help pay the mortgage”. The tongue-in-cheek humour continued yesterday when she shared videos via Instagram Story after requested time off Sunny to film The Mick had her with nothing to do for the day.

Today, Howerton featured in her Story, talking about his show’s renewal and then asking Olson, “What’s going on with The Mick?” While she thanked Howerton “for dropping by to say hi to us,” his presence fuelled speculation that it wasn’t just a friendly visit to the set but a return to the show. Howerton’s character Dennis left Paddy’s Pub and supposedly the series at the end of the season 12 finale to be a father to his son in North Dakota.
