For those who are waiting patiently for the new JOHN WICK 2 trailer release, you can now rest happily and feast your eyes on the video player above because Warner Bros. UK has revealed the brand new trailer for the highly-anticipated JOHN WICK: CHAPTER TWO, the new film from Chad Stahelski.Â
JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2 features Keanu Reeves reprising the title and director Chad Stahelski returning to helm. Common is joining the franchise as the sequel’s chief antagonist.
John Wick screenwriter Derek Kolstad is also returning for the sequel, which will be released through Lionsgate’s Summit Entertainment and will be produced by Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk. Iwanyk also produced the first film.
In this next chapter following the 2014 hit, legendary hitman John Wick [Keanu Reeves] is forced back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.
Produced on a modest $20 million budget, JOHN WICK earned more than $78 million at the worldwide box office and also became a hit in the home video market.
