Jesse Eisenberg, we barely recognised you! This was obviously supposed to be the point of his transformation since being cast as Lex Luthor in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE.
Many eyebrows were raised once he singed in for the role as many fans questioned whether he would look the part and now it seems his cynics may have been quietened after this transformation.
Entertainment Weekly revealed the exclusive first look and spoke to director Zack Snyder about introducing the character to Warner Bros’ DC Cinematic Universe and the film’s take on the iconic villain.
“He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure,” says Snyder, “other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course.
“Our Lex is disarming and he’s not fake. He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there.”
EW also cleared up speculation in regards to Jason Momoa’s appearance in the film as Aquaman – it will be only as a cameo, but will it set up the JUSTICE LEAGUE FILM set for release in 2017?
There is an endless amount of excitement surrounding Snyder’s film, which will bring together Henry Cavill’s Superman, Ben Affleck’s Batman and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman following their exploits together in DAWN OF JUSTICE.
As thrilled as we are to keep hearing news and seeing official pictures we still have a while to wait yet until we can see the film – a year to this day to be exact. BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE will arrive in cinemas March 25th, 2016.
