Jennifer Lawrence

All good things must come to an end and that seems to be the case with Jennifer Lawrence’s involvement with the X-MEN Marvel film series.

The actress has hinted that X-MEN: APOCALYPSE will be her ‘last one’ after discussing her intentions with the franchise with MTV News, at the premiere of her latest project SERENA:

“It is my last one, actually,” she said when asked about the X-Men film.

We can hear the sighs of disappointment already! Lawrence has played Raven/Mystique in 2011’s X-MEN: FIRST CLASS and X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, and the popular actress will reprise her role for X-MEN: APOCALYPSE.

APOCALYPSE will feature young versions of Cyclops, Jean Grey and Storm among others, with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Nicholas Hoult all returning as Xavier, Magneto and Beast, respectively.

We knew their roles couldn’t all last forever and it is inevitable that the American, who is the darling of Hollywood, will continue to look for other varying roles in the future.
X-MEN: APOCALYPSE opens on May 19th, 2016 in the UK and on May 27th, 2016 in the US.
