The wait is over Hunger Game fans, the latest installment from the incredibly popular franchise is finally released in cinemas and to celebrate, two brand new clips from the film have been released.
THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 1 more than delivers, excitement, suspense and emotional turmoil for Katniss and the film certainly does not disappoint (take a look at our review to read more about our thoughts on the film) and today we have been treated to yet another two snippets from the movie by the lovely people at Lionsgate, which you can watch below. Â
The Francis Lawrence-directed third film in the franchise stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland.
In the exciting new clip names ‘Air Strike’ we see Katniss and her propaganda film crew visit a hospital full of injured District citizens who are wounded from trying to defend themselves against the attacking Capitol.  However, sadistic leader, President Snow (Donald Sutherland) sees our heroine’s visit to the hospital as another perfectly timed opportunity to attack and get rid of her once and for all…
Air Strike clip:
Amidst a propaganda campaign to stir up the citizens from all the districts to put an end to President Snow and the Capitol’s ruthless rule, the team soon realise that writing speeches for Katniss is not the way to go – her fellow human’s need to see a natural, emotional side to the Hunger Games champion…
