James Corden, we love you. THE LATE LATE SHOW presenter certainly knows how to entertain, but does he know how to sing – a cappella style?

Well PITCH PERFECT 2 star Anna Kendrick was a guest on the Brit’s show and wanted to test his theory of being ‘the best a cappella singer in town…’

With a little help from The Filharmonics, Friday night’s show saw the INTO THE WOODS co-stars battle it out until there was only one singer left standing. “You are going to regret this, because you have woken the beast…” Corden joked.

The Riff-Off saw the duo contend with categories that included See Ya Later Songs and Songs That Will Kill You in the quest to be crowned the best.

After two well-fought rounds that featured performances of N*Sync‘s ‘Bye Bye Bye’ and Pat Benatar‘s ‘Love Is a Battlefield’, a winner was declared and the pair decided to put a stop to the fighting and join together for the final category.

With the final category revealing itself to be Weather Songs, Corden and Kendrick launched into a performance of Vanilla Ice‘s ‘Ice Ice Baby’, before finishing up with ‘Walking on Sunshine’ by Katrina and the Waves.
