Jake Gyllenhaal is a busy bee at the moment and his acting credentials are certainly notching up – he is now set to co-star with Ryan Reynolds and Rebecca Ferguson in Skydance’s sci-fi pic LIFE.
Daniel Espinosa will be calling the shots on this one, with David Ellison and Dana Goldberg producing along with Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn. The screenplay has been penned by DEADPOOL duo Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.
The movie will tell the story of the crew of the International Space Station, who, after retrieving a sample from Mars, discover that it displays signs of life, and proves to be more intelligent than expected.
Jake Gyllenhaal’s acting credentials are ever expanding, enjoying a very successful couple of years with blockbuster hits NIGHTCRAWLER, boxing drama SOUTHPAWÂ and adventure movie EVEREST. He will also be seen on the big screen shortly in DEMOLITION and NOCTURNAL ANIMALS which will no doubt be good box office contenders also.Â
Gyllenhaal is currently working on the movie STRONGER, which is in pre-production in Boston. It is based on the true story of one of the victims of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing who helps the police track down the killers while struggling to recover from devastating trauma.
