We have heard lots about it and finally it’s HERE! Take a look at the first trailer for KUNG FU PANDA 3, made available today by Twentieth Century Fox.
They’re ba-aaaack! Once again Jack Black provides the voice of hero Po, leading an impressive voice cast that includes Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, Rebel Wilson and J.K. Simmons.
Calling the shots once more is KUNG FU PANDA 2 director Jennifer Shuh who is joined by co-director Alessandro Carloni on the script penned by regular KUNG FU PANDA screenwriters Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger.
The official plot synopsis teases: “When Po’s long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible – learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!”
Released in 2008, KUNG FU PANDA was a huge hit at the box office, raking in over $630 million (£397 million) at cinemas worldwide. The 2011 sequel was even more successful, grossing over $665 million (£419 million) at cinemas globally. In the third installment, the studio will certainly be looking to repeat the success, if not better it.
KUNG FU PANDA 3 will arrive in cinemas March 2016.
