Film And TV Now recently interviewed director Paul Tanter and actor/producer Simon Phillips about their indie gangster comic noir STEALING CHAPLIN, based in part on a true story about the theft of Charlie Chaplin’s body from his grave.

PAUL TANTER

Paul Tanter is a British director, writer and producer working in independent film and television. He directs and produces the cult Amazon Prime vampire series Age of The Living Dead and Fox Action Movie‘s political action show No Easy Days.

He has written, directed and produced 15+ features films and written several graphic novels. He also writes about film, with bylines in Total Film, Digital Filmmaker and Film Stories Magazine.

SIMON PHILLIPS:

Simon Phillips is an award winning British actor, probably best known for the Amazon Prime hit TV shows Age of The Living Dead & No Easy Days and the The Rise and Fall of a White Collar Hooligan Trilogy features films.

He’s also cited and won awards for his gruesome portrayal of Santa Claus in Christmas Horror features Once Upon A Time At Christmas and The Nights Before Christmas.

He has appeared in feature films with Bruce Willis, Danny Dyer, David O’Hara, Mark Hamill, Robert Englund, Rutger Hauer, Richard E. Grant, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, John Malkovich and Mel Gibson.
