If you’re not a fan of creepy, heart rate increasing, terrifying trailers, then look away now! Another trailer has been released for INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 3 and it does not disappoint.
The poor Lamberts were haunted for two INSIDIOUS movies and now it is not their turn to be haunted –  it’s time to freak out another family.
Written and directed by Leigh Whannell, who launched the ghostly horror franchise in 2011 with his SAW co-creator James Wan, INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 3 takes place before the first two films and acts as a prequel while also introducing a new villain and bringing back an old favorite in medium Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye).
She died in the first chapter assisting the supernatural situation of suburban couple Josh (Patrick Wilson) and Renai Lambert (Rose Byrne), then appeared in the spiritual realm of the Further in the 2012 sequel. The third movie  takes place in 2008, when Elise,a  ghost hunter, is called in to help single father Sean Brenner (Dermot Mulroney) and his teen daughter Quinn (Stefanie Scott).
The girl lost her mother to lung cancer and is desperate to get in touch with her in the afterlife. She unwittingly catches the attention of a nameless entity, referred to as The Man Who Can’t Breathe (Michael Reid MacKay), who pretends to be her dead parent and lures her into his dark world.
Produced by horror hitmakers Jason Blum and Oren Peli, they will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of the first INSIDIOUS, which became a surprise box-office smash grossing over $97 million worldwide.
