Three years ago, Magic Mike became one of those unexpected hits that surprised everyone. It was a great opportunity for Channing Tatum to show off his dancing skills and his physique (and it is all partially based on his experiences as a stripper), it turned out to be a movie about much more than that – however, it wasn’t short of the male stripping scenes of course!
On Wednesday we revealed the highly-anticipated trailer for its sequel and it’s pretty much what we would expect: Tatum dancing alone, then dancing with the others, then stripping. Quite the trailer fans were hoping for.
Now we have been treated to some brand new stills from the movie, which shows Mike and his gang are taking centre stage once more and back up to their old tricks, revealing there will be plenty of shirtless scenes. Matthew McConaughey and Alex Pettyfer have not returned for the sequel, but Tatum is still joined by Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Adam Rodriguez, Gabriel Iglesias and Kevin Nash.
The plot picks up three years later, when a retired Mike decides to strip one last time for a convention in Myrtle Beach.
