Idris Elba’s film career is going from strength to strength at the moment with a heartily varied range of roles and from today, he can be seen as a truly menacing man in psycho-thriller NO GOOD DEED.
The film finds Colin (Elba) as a jailbird recently denied parole, who escapes during a transport and ends up at the home of single mother Terry, (Taraji P.Henson), a former District Attorney who has opted to become a stay-at-home-mum to her two children. Their lives take a turn for the scary when they offer a ride to a compelling stranger whose car runs off the road in front of them. Cue kidnapping, terror and a very important lesson to be learned: do not ever give strangers a ride from the side of the road even if they are as seemingly charming and handsome as Idris Elba.
