Hugh Jackman is a talented actor who has enjoyed great success in films such as PRISONERS and LES MISERABLES to name but a few, however, he is perhaps most well known for his role as Wolverine and it seems he has now said goodbye to the character for good.
Hugh Jackman was born to play Wolverine. He IS Wolverine and it is a sad day to think that he has officially hung his claws up for good now, but as he stated on social media, it is certainly not a sad day for everyone – especially his wife!
Taking to Instagram, the Australian actor confirmed he has wrapped production on the last film in New Mexico and has shaven off his beard that has always been such a huge part of the character. So long ‘Old Man Logan’!
“My wife is going to be very happy. #GoodbyeChops #TheDebs,” Hugh captioned the video.
Thanks to the huge success of DEADPOOL, WOLVERINE 3 (official title TBA) will actually be ‘R rated’ which will allow Jackman and director James Mangold to really go out with a bang in all claw-fighting glory.
So for now, we bid farewell to the comic book hero – until the film is released of course!
