Marvel fans, get excited! A new trailer and poster have landed for Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Love and Thunder,” offering long-awaited clues to what’s in store for the God of Thunder.
As expected, the trailer itself delivers the laugh, largely thanks to Taika Waititi’s hilarious story telling relaying to children the story of the ‘space viking’. It also shares the moment that Thor first sees Jane – a great Thor-like reaction from him as he sees his ex!
Previously, we only saw a tiny snippet of Russell Crowe’s Zeus, but now we get to see so much more and so does everyone in the room during that scene. You definitely need to watch it to see what we can here! Take a look at the hilarious footage in the video player
The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods.
To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor.
Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.
Back in the director’s chair for this one is Taika Waititi (“Thor: Ragnarok,” “Jojo Rabbit”) and produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum.
