It has been a while worth waiting for as producer Ryan Murphy has unveiled the first look of Ewan McGregor as renowned fashion designer Roy Frowick, known more famously as Halston.
He teased the first look from the Netflix biographic limited series on social media via Instagram, which you can take a look at below:
Murphy wrote: ‘After a long 20 years of twists and turns, the limited series HALSTON starring the fantastic Ewan McGregor began production today. I am so proud of our director and leader Dan Minahan, and Christine Vachon of Killer Films. I am thrilled to be producing this great and meaningful show with them and Alexis Martin Woodall and Pamela Koffler.’
He continued in his post by revealing the full cast list confirming Ewan McGregor as Halston, Rory Culkin as Joel Shumacher, Rebecca Dayan as Elsa Peretti, David Pittu as Joe Eula, Krysta Rodriguez as Liza Minnelli, Sullivan Jones as Ed Austin, Gian Franco Rodriguez as Victor Hugo.

You can expect to see even more of Murphy’s projects as he has also announced that he is producing another miniseries that will be based on the classic Broadway musical A Chorus Line consisting of 10 episodes.
