Henry Cavill took to social media on Thursday evening to show the world how he brought home a little bit of The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia, teasing the upcoming TV series after another day of filming.

THE WITCHER will be airing on Netflix later his year and has been in production since the end of September. It has been shot in various locations around the world and it doesn’t appear to have finished yet. Cavill, who is largely known for his role as SUPERMAN and his recent performance as August Walker in MISSION IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT is playing the lead role in the best-selling fantasy series.

Cavill took to Instagram on Thursday to show the world a bit of Geralt, stating: When you take work home with you #TheWitcher @Netflix‘.

It’s clear to see that the actor has had to get into Superman shape for the role and hasn’t hidden his intense training over recent months. Fellow DC actor Jason Momoa, otherwise known as Aquaman, even commented on Cavill’s peak condition: prideofgypsies Looking shredded bro. 🤙🏽’.

There’s no denying it, the Brit is definitely in training mode in order to fulfil the role and resemble Geralt of Rivia. Ten weeks ago, he joked: ‘I don’t always workout, but when I do, I workout with Superman. #Superman#GymStuff‘ whilst posing with a statue of Superman.

After months of production, we can’t wait to see more from the TV series in the form of official photos and teasers, but we may already have an image in our minds of what Cavill will look like as Geralt after he took to Instagram back on August 9th, 2018 to share a concept poster of him as the character created by the superb Bosslogic.
