Rebel Wilson

It has been twenty-five years since the last GHOSTBUSTER movie graced our screens, and details of a third movie are already creating a buzz.

Recently on the Today Show, comedic actress Rebel Wilson mentioned she had met with Sony, her BRIDESMAIDS director, Paul Feig and the rest of the Ghostbusters 3 team.

The Australian has become a popular comedic actress with performances in PITCH PERFECT and BRIDESMAIDS. Her exciting revelation is sure to get film fans talking, particularly those of classic films being remade.

Rebel Wilson’s hinted at her involvement with the movie remake during her interview.

“I have had a meeting…But who knows? They will have to look at the script when it’s finished….I’d do that for free. I probably shouldn’t have said that live on TV.”

A Ghostbusters 3 film would no doubt be plagued in classic humour, with director Feig desiring an array of comedic talent. The film so far has a feminine feel about it, with Rebel Wilson being only one of the female names associated with the movie.  Feig has expressed desire to work with Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig and Emma Stone, all popular actresses who have something unique to offer.

As GHOSTBUSTERS 3 is currently being discussed and developed, why not take a trip down memory lane by watching a clip of where it all began!
