FTVN Competition: Win a copy of Edie on Blu-ray

This month, the movie EDIE is being released on digital download, DVD and Blu-ray starring Sheila Hancock. The story is a tale of triumph over adversity as Edie embarks on the adventure of a lifetime, set against the stunning backdrop of the Scottish Highlands.

To celebrate the film’s Home Entertainment release, we are giving you the chance to win EDIE on Blu-ray. 

The film received its World Premiere at the 2017 Edinburgh International Film Festival, where it was also nominated for the prestigious Michael Powell Award. Director Simon Hunter’s film features a truly moving performance from Sheila Hancock (Cabaret, Entertaining Mr Sloane) in an inspiring tale.

Meet Edith Moore (Sheila Hancock) an elderly woman, who in the aftermath of the death of her controlling husband, decides to fulfil a life-long dream and overcome a lifetime of bitterness and resentment. At the tender age of eighty-three, Edie sets out to try and capture a little of the magic she had as a young girl by climbing a Scottish mountain. Against her daughters wishes, she heads to Scotland and employs Jonny (Kevin Guthrie– Dunkirk, Whisky Galore!) to help her prepare for the gruelling climb ahead – which sparks an unusual friendship.

• Competition will open at 9am on Monday 29^th October 2018
• Competition will close at 11:59pm on Wednesday 7th November 2018 and entries sent after the closing date will not be considered
• Entrants must be over the age of 13
• Competition is open to UK residents only
• Prize for 3x (THREE) winners is 1 x copy of Edie on Blu-ray
• Winners will be notified via email for prize fulfilment
• Winners will be picked at random from all entrants
• If the winner fails to reply to notification of winning within 48 hours of notification they will automatically forgo the right to claim the Prize and a runner up will be selected as an alternative Competition Winner. If such runner up also fails to accept the Prize in the required manner, the next runner up will be selected as an alternative Competition Winner and so on until another Competition Winner is chosen and has duly accepted in accordance with these Rules.
