Hulu has confirmed that they have set a release date for their new TV series, FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL. The 10-episode show is set to launch July 31st and our hats are at the ready!

Unfortunately, we cannot binge watch the series and download them all in one go, as the show will be airing weekly from July 31st. We are wishing the months away already and longing for summer – the perfect release for wedding season!

Starring in the series is Zoe Boyle, Nathalie Emmanuel, Guz Khan, Sophia La Porta, Harish Patel, Nikesh Patel, John Reynolds, Rebecca Rittenhouse and Brandon Mychal Smith.

The pilot script is written by Mindy Kaling and Matt Warburton. For those who are avid fans of the movie, fear not as the film’s director Richard Curtis is on board the show serving as an executive producer.

Four Weddings and a Funeral

According to the official synopsis for the TV series, ‘four American friends reunite for a fabulous London wedding. But after a bombshell at the altar throws their lives into turmoil, they must weather a tumultuous year of romance and heartbreak. Relationships are forged and broken, political scandals exposed, London social life lampooned, love affairs ignited and doused, and of course, there are four weddings… and a funeral.’

For us Brits, there’s been no information on whether or not the show will air on this side of the pond, but we are keeping our fingers crossed that we also get to enjoy the celebrations at some point over the summer! We are expecting some images and a trailer to be released shortly, so far now, we can’t wait to see those teasers!
