Universal has released the first trailer for THE BOSS starring Melissa McCarthy as the wealthiest woman in America and the boss from hell.
McCarthy plays Michelle Darnell — based on an original character she created during her Groundlings days — a business mogul jailed for insider trading. Six months later and she is released and forced to move in with an underpaid former employee (Kristen Bell) she used to torture. After spending some time with Bell’s character’s Girl Scout daughter, Darnell decides to build a brownie empire from scratch.
THE BOSS also stars Peter Dinklage, Kathy Bates and Kristen Schaal also star in the film, which McCarthy wrote with her husband, Ben Falcone, and longtime friend, Steve Mallory.
Falcone, who directed McCarthy in the comedy TAMMY is once again in the director’s chair for this one.
We still have a little while to wait until we can watch this one, but let’s face it – any film starring the fabulous Melissa McCarthy is worth the wait!
THE BOSS lands in cinemas February 26th, 2016.
