Look up in the sky! Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No…it’s a has-been hero!
The trailer for SUPERMANSIONÂ the superhero/roommate comedy from the team behind ROBOT CHICKENÂ has finally arrived, which you can watch below.
The series will follow the League of Freedom, a beleaguered super-team trying to stay relevant in the modern world. It’s what could happen to the Avenger or Justice League if the superhero genre goes-in Stephen Spielberg’s words-the ‘way of the western.’
SuperMansion promises to show superheroes as never before, saving the world whilst arguing over whose turn it is to buy milk or who left the toilet seat up.
Recently released character posters revealed the team’s full roster:
 Titanium Rex: A cranky, crotchety old-time superhero, able to do whatever Superman can do, except understand technology.
 American Ranger: The team’s ‘All-American Boy’ skilled in all things soldier-y, and handy with a potato peeler.
 Black Saturn: Bleak and broody-no doubt with an obsession with dark colours-expert at throwing disks at things, and hitting them.
 Brad: Invulnerable, super-strong, and super-relaxed, he takes one day at a time. What the Hulk would be if he went to ‘Anger Management’ classes, got high, and wasn’t green.
 Cooch: Resident cat lady with super speed and even sharper claws. She’s mostly toilet trained.
 Robobot: Jewish one-robot DIY kit, whom often ponder what it means to be human.
The trailer parodies the epic cinematic feel of movies such as AVENGERS and AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, alongside the a superhero’s everyday life: Titanium Rex trying to prove to officials his team are relevant, dick and balls jokes, a psychotic supervillain clown, and a pig that fires lasers from its arse.
SUPERMANSIONÂ features the vocal talents of: Bryan Cranston, Seth Green, Keegan-Michael Key, Heidi Lynn Gardner, Tucker Gilmore, Tom Root, and Zeb Wells.
The series will premiere with the first three episodes on Crackle October 8th. Episodes will then stream weekly through December 17th.
