Captain Marvel is here! The wait is finally over! The lovely folks at Marvel and Walt Disney Studios have (finally!) released the first trailer for the movie and already it is garnering a lot of attention. Take a look at the footage in the video player below!
The trailer is almost 2 minutes in length and it doesn’t disappoint. Brie Larson plays the titular character and she looks every bit the part in the first footage that we have seen. Joining her on the big screen for this one is Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, with Annette Bening, and Jude Law.
Reprising their roles from Marvel’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY are Djimon Hounsou and Lee Pace.
CAPTAIN MARVEL follows Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, CAPTAIN MARVEL is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Marvel Studios’ CAPTAIN MARVEL is directed by the writing/directing team of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, whose credits include Mississippi Grind and Half Nelson.
