Fans of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be pleased to hear that Disney+ has revealed that more Marvel Cinematic Universe characters are coming to their new subscription service. The company announced that Falcon and Winter Soldier will also be added to their streaming service alongside WandaVision.

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will be back in action playing the superheroes The Falcon and Winter Soldier respectively and we can’t wait to see them both back in action!

FALCON AND WINTER SOLDIER will tell the story of the two Avengers and we will learn more about them than we have got chance to see in the MCU movies they’ve starred in so far.

Kevin Feige remained tight-lipped about the synopsis for the series and didn’t give too much away with regards to its plot, but what we do know is that the upcoming Disney+ live-action series will tie into the post-Avengers: Endgame universe. He was careful not to give away any spoilers about the fate ENDGAME. We don’t know how they manage to do it!

Sebastian Stan took to social media to share his excitement about the official news in quite a calm and laidback way…

We don’t know about you, but after suffering so many losses at the hands of the snap in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, we sure are glad to be getting all of these brand new TV series – but it sure is making us feel better!

All of the information was shared at Disney’s investor presentation where the company revealed their plans for the series, movies, classics and upcoming exclusives that will be available on the streaming service.

We don’t have too long to wait for it to launch, as it will become available from November 12th with a monthly subscription cost of $6.99 a month and an annual subscription set at $69.99.

It all sounds very exciting and it will be interesting to see how it rivals Netflix, Amazon and the upcoming Apple streaming service. Disney+ are expecting to have 7,500 episodes, 25 original series, 400 library movie titles, and 100 recent theatrical film releases when it launches, which will also feature no advertisements – a great added bonus.

What do you think of the two Avengers uniting for a TV series? Will you be subscribing to Disney’s streaming service to watch FALCON AND WINTER SOLDIER? As always, we like to know your thoughts, so leave a comment below, tweet us @filmandtvnow or drop us a comment on our Facebook page.
