Sony has released the first trailer for Robert Zemeckis‘ new drama THE WALK starring Joseph Gordon Levitt as French high-wire artist Philippe Petit who attempted to cross the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in 1974. Â
The trailer itself actually gives nothing much away, but is more of an announcement to the film itself, so we can image another little teaser will be on its way soon enough.
With other big titles like CAST AWAY, FORREST GUMP, DEATH BECOMES HER, WHO FRAMED RODGER RABBIT and BACK TO THE FUTURE under Zemeckis’ belt, we’ve got a lot of faith in his directing abilities.Â
